Leixlip post office will close its doors on September 13th.
It will reopen on Monday September 16th at Barnhall Shopping Centre, Celbridge Road.
When the closure was originally announced earlier this year, residents and businesses said it could lead to a significant decline in foot traffic, estimating a potential 50% drop in visitors to the area.
Residents also highlighted the importance of the Post Office, particularly in an era where banks are increasingly transitioning to cashless operations.
