The Leixlip native was on this morning's Kildare Today show.
It's been a massive couple of years for Leixlip native Andrew Omobamidele.
From playing for Leixlip United at the Amenities Centre in the town, to lining out for Norwich City at the likes of Anfield, Old Trafford and the Emirates Stadium, Omobamidele has solidified his position at the heart of The Canaries' defence.
He also made his full Republic of Ireland debut in 2021 when he came off the bench against Portugal to mark Cristiano Ronaldo, and has made a number of appearances since.
Norwich City recently released a documentary about Omobamidele called 'The Lad From Leixlip', detailing his experience of growing up in Kildare and how his move to the club came about.
He spoke to Kfm on this morning's Kildare Today show.
