Naoise O'Cearuill will raise the issue at the next Clane-Maynooth MD meeting
A local Cllr. is calling on Kildare County Council to provide an update on any progress being made in relation to the provision of a community centre in Maynooth.
With a population of almost 18,000, as well as a large student population, frustration has been growing in the town for a number of years at the lack of a community centre.
Fianna Fail Cllr. Naoise O’Cearuill, who previously said it was “an absolute embarrassment” that the town didn’t have such a facility, will issue another call at the next Clane-Maynooth MD meeting.
The meeting takes place on the 2nd of February and Cllr. O’Cearuill says it’s vital things get moving.
