A public information campaign around the role of local council and councillors has been launched.
It gives an overview of the different responsibilities of local government and the key role played by councillors in shaping communities.
Local Government Minister Kieran O'Donnell hopes it'll encourage "greater awareness among the general public" of the crucial role they play.
