Long Wait Ahead: Wicklow Residents Face Delay In Improved 65 Bus Service

There are no immediate plans to enhance the 65 route serving Blessington or to extend it to Baltinglass.

In a recent meeting with the NTA, Wicklow Sinn Féin TD John Brady revealed the agency's decision not to extend the 65 bus service or increase its frequency.

Brady emphasised the prolonged timeline, stating that even if changes were approved, they wouldn't materialise before 2026.

He said the service deficit is impacting on communities, particularly as Blessington's population burgeons.
