Naas has been listed as one of the towns with a relatively low waiting time.
In Drogheda, County Louth, it's 18 weeks, while Tuam in County Galway also has a low waiting time.
The RSA's Director of Driver Testing, Declan Naughton, says efforts will be made to address those areas where there are delays:
