Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) are encouraging people to make submissions as part of that consultation process so that their views and suggestions regarding the potential extension of the proposed Luas Lucan route to Celbridge Village can be considered by the project team.
While the current Luas Lucan project has a defined study area and scope, decisions regarding future Luas lines and potential extensions to the wider network are matters for the National Transport Authority (NTA).
Any amendments to existing plans or consideration of future extensions would be assessed through future iterations of the Greater Dublin Area Transport Strategy.
