A man has been charged following a drugs seizure in Lucan on Tuesday night.
Gardaí seized over €112,000 of suspected cannabis and arrested and charged one man, as part of Operation Tara, following a search in Dublin 15 on Tuesday 25th April 2023.
At approximately 10pm, Gardaí stopped a car on the Ballyowen Road, Lucan and conducted a search of the vehicle.
During this search approximately €12,000 of cannabis was discovered in the car.
In a follow-up search at a residence in the Corduff area of Blanchardstown, approximately €100,000 of suspected cannabis and other drug paraphernalia was seized.
The seized drugs will now be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
A man in his 20s was arrested as a result and since been charged. He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning, Wednesday 26th April 2023.
Investigations are ongoing.
