A man in his 20s has died following a collision on the M7 this morning.
The incident occurred at the M7 Eastbound/Northbound Junction 12 (Ballymany) at approximately 6.20am, when a van collided with the bridge.
The driver of the van was fatally injured as a result of the collision.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the mortuary at Naas General Hospital.
The road was closed earlier today to facilitate a technical examination of the scene by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The road has now reopened.
