A post-mortem examination is expected to take place today on the body of a man who was discovered with serious injuries outside a residence in the Piercetown area.
The man, aged in his 40s, was taken to Naas General Hospital.
He died yesterday afternoon.
A murder inquiry's been launched and an incident room has been established at Newbridge Garda Station.
