Applications open for Irish language poets and writers to take up a year-long residency from October 2024
Maynooth University, in partnership with Kildare County Council, is seeking an Irish language Writer in Residence for the 2024–25 academic year.
The position is open to writers who have published works in Irish and will run from October 2024 to October 2025.
The role offers students and the public a chance to engage with established Irish language writers. It also provides an opportunity for writers to develop their own creative projects.
