Mayor Of Kildare Questions Whether Social Housing Construction Funding Will Be Granted To KCC.

The council has been tasked with building over 2,000 social homes by 2026.

The Mayor of Kildare has questioned whether funding will be available to aid Kildare County Council in reaching social housing build targets.

The council has been tasked with constructing 2,068 social homes over the next five years, under new Housing for All targets

Local authorities have been tasked with building 47,000 homes, nationwide, in that time-frame.

Fianna Fáil Cllr., Naoise O'Cearuil, has been speaking to Kildare Today.

Mayor O'Cearuil joined Ciara Noble and Clem Ryan on Friday's edition of the programme
