Commentary highlights of the iconic win, with excerpts of Glenn Ryan's victory speech

In honour of the late, great Mick O'Dwyer, Kfm is broadcasting and podcasting some of the most iconic games from Micko's reign.

On Monday morning's Kildare Today programme, we will re-live the 1998 All-Ireland Semi-Final win over Kerry and the Final against Galway.

This morning, we heard commentary highlights from Pat Costello, Barney Rock, Jack O'Shea and Jimmy Magee of Kildare's Leinster Final win over Meath in 1998, as well as excerpts from Glenn Ryan's victory speech.

The game finished Kildare 1-12 Meath 0-10.

Croke Park was awash with white jersey, hats, scarves and headbands and the Curragh of Kildare was being sung from all four corners of the ground.
