Minister Thomas Byrne is to visit the Kilcullen GAA clubhouse at 3.30pm today.

He will officially open the Cill Chuillin Abu memorial wall and be shown the club's Field of Dreams project.

The project will see the construction of three news pitches, an all weather training area and a walking and cycling track.

Kilcullen GAA club has seen huge growth over the past decade with just under 1,100 members in a town with a population of approximately 3,800.
