A TikTok user has been caught after engaging in a string of acts in pub toilets, including urinating in bins, breaking toilet roll holders, and vandalising restrooms while filming the destruction for social media.
The individual, who believed they were acting anonymously, was identified through CCTV footage at Judge Roy Beans in Newbridge.
The pub, after identifying the culprit, announced that they had contacted Newbridge Garda.
The incident sparked widespread condemnation, as the TikTok account in question reportedly contained multiple videos showcasing similar acts of vandalism in various locations, leaving staff to deal with the aftermath.
The videos were posted to an account called Miss_Aiming which has since been deleted.
Following the exposure, the individual reached out to the pub and issued a formal written apology, acknowledging their behaviour as "unacceptable and disrespectful."
They said: "Please know that this is not a reflection of who I strive to be and I am committed to ensuring this does not happen again."
In addition to the apology, the offender has been required to:
Pay for the damage caused and the clean-up costs
Make a €500 donation to Newbridge Day Care Centre
Ensure all conditions are met by Friday to avoid further legal consequences
The pub has stated that they will not pursue legal action if these three conditions are met.
