More Warnings Issued About Scam Calls In Kildare.

Calls are being made from people claiming to represent organisations including Gardai, the HSE, the Dept. of Social Protection, banks and others.

There are more warnings about phone scams in Kildare.

There's been a sharp increase in scam calls and texts in recent months, and Kildare Gardai have issued numerous warnings.

Frank Cox lives in Newbridge.

He has received a call claiming to be from Amazon, stating a person in Celbridge had used his account.

In recent days Gardaí have received increased reports of persons receiving phone calls from fraudsters claiming to be members of An Garda Síochána.
