Naas Gardaí Seize E-Scooter Capable Of 50km/h Speeds

The device is illegal on Irish roads, e-scooters must not exceed 20km/h.

Gardaí in Naas have seized an e-scooter capable of travelling at 50km/h.

The device is illegal on Irish roads, e-scooters must not exceed 20km/h in speed.

The KuKirin M4 Pro also weighs 22.6kg, powered by a 500-watt motor.

The owner must apply to the District Court to appeal for the return of their e-scooter.

On social media, the Garda message was simple, "don't buy one. Don't ride one on public roads. If we find it, we will seize it".
