Naas General Hospital Launches Annual Flu Vaccine Campaign

For healthcare workers

Today, Naas General Hospital launched its flu vaccine campaign for healthcare workers.

Hospital staff urge everyone eligible in the wider community to avail of both free winter vaccines, flu & Covid-19 - as they are the best protection against the viruses this year.

Naas General has introduced a mobile vaccination clinic.

This clinic will travel to all wards and departments in a bid to reach more staff who may find it more difficult to find the time to be vaccinated.

The free flu vaccine is recommended to individuals:

Aged 65 or over
A healthcare worker
Children aged 2 – 17
At any stage of pregnancy
People with certain long term medical conditions that put them at increased risk from the complications of flu
