A driver, subject to a bench warrant, has been arrested by Kildare Gardai.
Naas Roads Policing Unit were conducting speed checks on the M9 when they found driver speeding at 149kph.
The driver was stopped, and subsequently found to be disqualified, and the subject of a bench warrant
The motorist was detained and proceedings are to follow.

In a separate operation, Naas RPU say they made "numerous" detections in a speed check set up following complaints about drivers breaking the limit.
It took place in Johnstownbridge.
Gardai say one driver was detected travelling at 80kph in a 50kph zone.
Fines and penalty points have been issued in all cases.
