The downgrading of Navan Hospital’s emergency department will have a huge affect on patients in Kildare.
That is the view of Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín.
Ambulance restricting are due to start on the 12th December, with the A&E slated to close in the New Year.
Latest figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Association show 577 patients currently waiting for beds across Ireland.
Speaking on Kildare Today On Kfm, Deputy Toibin says the closure will make the the situation in Naas even worse.
