3,864 new cars were registered in Co. Kildare in the first 7 months of this year, an increase of 3.12% compared to 2021.
The figures were released by the Society of Irish Motors Industry, regarding new car registrations for the month of July 2022.
Nationally, year-to-date figures decreased from 90,330 to 87,075 - a fall of 3.6%.
Ireland's new car registrations for July 2022 decreased by 17.3% to 21,902, compared to July 2021 when the figure was 26,477.
The country's top selling car last month, was the Hyundai Tucson.
