Four more new centres will be introduced to Dublin, Monaghan, Louth and Galway.
With this expansion, the number of Family Resource Centres will increase from 121 to 126.
A comprehensive national application and assessment process was undertaken, led by Tusla and independently chaired by a representative of the University of Limerick.
There are currently four Family Resource Centres in Kildare, located in Athy, the Curragh Camp, Kildare Town and Newbridge.
Minister for Children Norma Foley announced the establishment as part of the expansion of the Tusla National Programme for 2025.
