It's the second search as part of the investigation this week - an operation in Killeigh near Tullamore concluded yesterday.
Earlier this week Gardaí officially classified the case as a murder inquiry for the first time.
Nobody has ever been charged in connection to her disappearance.
Gardaí have reissued an appeal for information to what happened Fiona, who was last seen on the 23rd of August, 1996 on Church Street in Tullamore.
