Broadband, green spaces, house prices and crime rates are also factors.
Castlebar came out on top followed by another Mayo town with Ballina in second.
This was followed by Longford town, Wexford town and Arklow.
Wicklow town, Cavan, Ashbourne, Athlone and Athy round out the top ten.
Down at the bottom of the list of the 50 which were analysed is Limerick.
Newbridge was deemed the safest town while Longford is the cheapest.
