New changes for the station were highlighted in a recent meeting
Peggy O'Dwyer requested an update on the refurbishment plans for the car park at the train station on behalf of Newbridge Disability Access Group.
There has been number of previous meetings with the Disability Access group members to request that this area be made universally accessible for all.
A meeting with Iarnród Éireann staff and a member of Kildare County Council took place yesterday, and plans were drafted and reviewed.
New changes include a set down area for buses, bathroom requirements and the need for shelter on Platform 1and 3 were all highlighted.
For passengers requiring the lift, they are advised to check prior to traveling as the lift in the station is presently being upgraded.
