Nine-year-old Archer Scheepers and his family are confident the egg is the biggest in Ireland
A nine-year-old boy from Kilcock looks like the new owner of Ireland's biggest egg.
Archer Scheeper's Copper Black Maran hen, Rosaleen, has laid an egg that weighs 136g.
This beats last year's record of a 117g egg laid in Wicklow.
Scheeper's egg is almost three times as big as a standard supermarket egg.
"It's really big, it's so big!", said Archer when speaking to the Irish Mirror.
