Over 1,000 people took part in Kildare Sports Partnership's first ever Virtual Walking Festival.
This took place in September and, in its newly published Local Sports Partnership annual report, Sport Ireland describes the event as " innovative".
This was one of a series of initiative undertaken in Kildare in 2020, aimed at promoting outdoor activity during Covid-19 restrictions
