Gardai are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
On Sunday evening, almost €120 worth of scratch cards were stolen from Spar on the main road of Leixlip.
Two males dressed in all black entered the premises - one male distracted the shop assistant while the other put the scratch cards in his jacket pockets.
Both males left the store on foot and headed towards Lucan.
Gardai are appealing to the public to contact Leixlip Garda station with any additional information regarding the incident.
Inquiries are ongoing.
