Nationally, €1m has been awarded across 54 projects in 24 counties under the ‘Community Water Development Fund Open Call 2025’
Today, the Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPRO), is awarding €27,676 to Ballymore Eustace Tidy Towns and Ballymore Eustace Environmental Group (BEE Group).
The grant has been awarded to control Himalayan Balsam along the River Liffey banks and environs over a 10km stretch from Ballymore Eustace to Harristown.
Overall, €1,047,265 has been awarded across 54 projects in 24 counties under the ‘Community Water Development Fund Open Call 2025’.
