The cost of a general waste bin lift is also going up, from €13.50 to €14.75, an increase of just over 9 per cent.
The latest hikes follow a series of increases last year, when Panda raised its annual service charge, the cost of general waste lifts, as well as fees for recycling bin collections and per-kilo recycling charges.

Charlie Weston, Personal Finance Editor with the Irish Independent, says the increases come on top of price rises last year.
