"Significant number of units" here in Co. Kildare
The Peter McVerry Trust has announced plans to deliver 1,200 new social housing units, as part of their Strategic Plan, covering the period up to 2025.
"A significant number" of units will be here in Co. Kildare, that's according to the Chief Executive, Pat Doyle.
Outside of Dublin, the trust's largest number of services are in Co. Kildare.
Mr. Doyle noted on behalf of Kildare County Council the trust runs the main Supported Temporary Accommodation in the county.
The area of the county the service wants to focus on is Maynooth, Prosperous, Newbridge, Naas, Kildare town, Monasterevin & Celbridge.
On Friday we launched our new Strategic Plan about new Southern Regional office in Cork with the Taoiseach. Here is a short video of the event.
