Plans for a large-scale solar farm across 246 hectares outside Kilcullen have been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.
Planning permission was granted for the facility late last year, which would span the townlands of Brannockstown, Brownstown, Carnalway, Coughlanstown West, Corbally, Delamain, Dunnstown, Gaganstown, Greenhills, Harristown, Hillsborough, Moorhill And Rochestown.
85 submissions were made to the council on the proposed development, the majority from individuals and eight from groups.
Now, the plans have been appealed to An Bord Pleanála.
