Pregnant Horse Dies After Collapsing Twice During Illegal Sulky Drive, Says Kildare Animal Rescue

My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue say the mare was one of at least six horses involved in an illegal sulky drive, which included Dollymount Strand.

A Kildare-based animal welfare organisation says a pregnant horse, which was forced to pull a sulky for miles through Dublin, has died.

Co-founder, Martina Kenny, said Anne died of her injuries after being whipped and pushed for several miles before being abandoned on a road in Ballyfermot.
