Kildare County Council begun upgrading public lighting along N78, Athy.
Works are in place from Junction 3, M9 to county boundary.
KCC says "Works will be ongoing for a number of weeks however it is expected that traffic disruption will be minimal. "
A traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works.
