It takes place in the Parish Hall tonight at 8pm
A public meeting takes place tonight in Prosperous, for parents struggling to get a school place for their children in the area.
As it stands, St Farnan's Secondary School and Scoil Mhuire in Clane are both operating at capacity, leaving parents in Prosperous, Donadea, Timahoe and further afield with limited options.
Social Democrats Cllr. Aidan Farrelly has been critical of the Department of Education for a lack of forward planning and says infrastructure is not keeping pace with increasing population.
The meeting tonight takes place at 8pm in the Parish Hall in Prosperous.
Local parent Suzanne Carroll says it's a very stressful situation for parents to be in.
