The incident happened in the Riverforest estate
Gardai are appealing for information after a house was burgled in the Riverforest estate in Leixlip.
The incident occurred last Friday between 7am and 8pm, when the home owner returned to find the lock on the rear door had been popped open.
All rooms in the house had been searched and a quantity of jewellery taken.
Most of the jewellery was Newbridge Silverware, including a silver chain with a clear stone and a Newbridge Silverware bracelet.
