Raheens GAA has been awarded €5,000 as part of a new nationwide community campaign.
The Guaranteed Irish competition invited local businesses involved with a local GAA club, team or county to showcase the contribution they make to their communities, on and off the pitch.
The campaign had four overall winners as part of the ‘Are You in the Guaranteed Irish Club?’, with each member receiving €5,000 for a nominated GAA club.
The clubs also received a personalised jersey for a junior team which was given at an exclusive photocall
The other winners were Ballyhaunis LGFA, Co. Mayo, Holycross Ballycahill GAA, Co. Tipperary and St. Brigid’s GAA, Co. Meath.
