Gardaí are investigating an incident of burglary in Newbridge, which saw a house "ransacked" and multiple pieces of jewellery stolen.
The theft occurred on Wednesday (22 July) between 7am- 1:30pm at Sycamore Rd, Connell Drive.
Speaking on Kildare Today's Crimewatch, Garda William Barry described the house as being "ransacked".
The culprits in this incident gained entry by breaking the glass in the front door and then entering the house.
Two gold wedding ring bands and a gold engagement ring with a diamond were taken.
The owners of these item are appealing for anyone with information to contact Gardaí.
Gardaí in Newbridge would like to speak to anyone who has information of this incident or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the Connell drive area on Wednesday the 22nd of July between 7am- 1:30pm.
