Rathwood In Carlow Receives Over 700 Complaints In First Half Of Year, According To New Report

It comes as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) have released their latest report.

Rathwood garden centre in Carlow has received 737 complaints in the first half of 2026.

It comes as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) have released their latest report.

Overall, 22,724 people contacted the CCPC in the first half of the year.

The top five complained about traders were Rathwood, Ryanair (238), Sky (228), Currys( 223) and Harvey Norman (196).

The top issues were faulty goods, pricing and contract performance.

There was also an increase of 34% in contacts related to an online purchase, with 4,577 contacts related to faulty goods & services
