Report Recommends Extra Advance-Warning Signage For M7/M9 Interchange

Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) have said that a recent report on the M7/M9 interchange recommended extra advance-warning signage on the M7 mainline.

This is currently going through the design process.

The designers have requested a topographical survey to gauge the existing slope to the rear of the Vehicle Restraint System, to allow for the design of an adequate foundation and post sizing.

A Road Safety Audit will then be required, before finalising the design and issuing a construction package for installation.

It was also reported that extensive vegetation clearance works were completed in February to improve visibility of merging traffic.
