Dublin’s O’Connell Street is currently at a standstill, as a nationwide protest calling for tax on fuel to be cut converges on Dublin.
Tractors, buses and lorries are also blocking main roads in other towns and cities around the country.
Convoys which departed from various parts of the country this morning, including the M7 at Junction 14, Monasterevin, the N4 services in Enfield and N11 Ashfield Services North, have arrived in the capital this afternoon.
There were a number of meeting points, including Naas Northbound Services and Liffey Valley.
Demonstrations are also taking place in Cork, Galway and Limerick, causing long delays on some routes.
Disruption continues on main routes around the country, including the M1, M2 and N7 - while protests are also taking place in regional towns like Castlebar and Tullamore - as well as in several parts of Cork, converging on the city centre.
