The free, walk-in service takes between 10-15 minutes and runs from 10am – 5.30pm
According the Road Safety Authority, over half of child car seats were fitted incorrectly, which could lead to a serious or fatal injury in the event of a collision.
The RSA's 'Check If It Fits' service found 56% of car seats checked needed some type of adjustment to make them a safe fit.
The 'Check If It Fits' service will be visiting locations around the country, and is coming to Kildare on the 11th and 12th of March.
