Busy day of Preliminary round games in Newbridge.
There have been wins for Raheens and Sarsfields on a busy day in the Joe Mallon Motors Senior Football Championship.
Raheens beat St Laurence’s by 4-16 to 3-09 at St Conleth's Park.
It took them a long time to shake off their opponents and it took 40 minutes for Raheens to take the lead, but they were comfortably on top in the final quarter.

Sarsfields were single point winners over Clogherinkoe, claiming a 14 points to 1-10 victory.
Sarsfields scored the first 7 points of the game, but had to cling on for victory in the end.
