Significant Residential Development Proposed For Barrack Road In Castledermot

The proposed development consists of a mix of housing types, including 12 detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses ranging from two to three storeys, with three and four-bedroom options.

A significant new residential development has been proposed for Barrack Road in Castledermot at a cost of €10 million.

The project, which will span approximately 1.24 hectares, aims to deliver 45 new dwellings.

The proposed development consists of a mix of housing types, including 12 detached, semi-detached, and terraced houses ranging from two to three storeys, with three and four-bedroom options.

The plan includes 22 two and three-bedroom apartments and duplex units, housed within two three-storey buildings, as well as 11 one and two-bedroom apartments located in a separate three-storey building.

A decision is expected in April.
