This school will be expanded along with ten other special schools across the country.
Stepping Stones Special School, Maynooth is to provided with three extra classes as part of an expansion announced today.
In addition, capacity will be expanded in ten other special schools around the country.
Those schools are in Donegal, Galway, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary, Waterford and Cork.
Education Minister Norma Foley has also announced the establishment of two new special schools.
One will be in Carrigtwohill in Cork, while the other will be in Dublin 7, and will open for the 2023/2024 school year.
