Status Yellow Wind Warning In Place For Kildare

A Status Yellow - Wind warning for Kildare is effect until 8pm on Wednesday.

The warning also includes Offaly, Laois, Carlow, Wexford, Wicklow, Dublin, Donegal, Munster and Connacht.

Met Éireann is warning of very strong west to northwest winds developing.

There will be gusts of 90 to 110 km/h expected, these will be stronger in coastal areas and over high ground.

The gusts may bring wave overtopping in coastal areas.
