It follows a report analysing five years of search trends online
A new study has found Kildare to be the "most jewellery-obsessed county in Ireland.
It follows a report from Ciarán O'Flynn jewellery, analysing five years of Google Trends data (August 21st, 2021, to August 21st, 2026) covering search interest in five jewellery categories, namely rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and watches, across Irish towns and cities.
Overall, Kildare was named the most jewellery-obsessed county overall, driven by strong showings from Derrinturn, Athy, Naas, Celbridge and Newbridge.
Kildare was followed by Dublin (2nd) and Meath (3rd).
Meanwhile, the most jewellery-obsessed town was Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, with a combined interest score of 466 out of a possible 500 across five selected search terms.
