Investment firm has bought 135 homes in a single Maynooth housing estate.
The Tánaiste expects actions on stopping investment funds buying entire housing estates "within weeks"
Taoiseach Micheál Martin has promised immediate action after an investment fund block bought 135 homes, out of 175, at Mullen Park in Maynooth.
There has been proposals to reserve a certain amount of new homes for first time buyers.
Tánaiste, Leo Vardakar, has been speaking to Kildare Today.
He expects resolution in the short term, but says reserving proportions of developments may not be practical.
Mr. Varakar joined Clem Ryan on this morning's edition of the programme on this matter, the issuing of fines to around 100 people who broke covid-19 regulations to attend a large wedding party in Longford, and the easing of Covid 19 restrictions.
