They are the Grand Canal Greenway and the Barrow Blueway.
Moves to progress two key Kildare tourism and recreation projects are being made.
Kildare County Council has tendered topographical and utility survey services for Phase 2 of the Grand Canal Greenway.
The 117 km walking and cycling route begins at Lucan Road Bridge, and runs along the canal from Ardclough to Sallins, to Prosperous and Kilinagh, before entering Offaly.
While KCC is seeking the same services for "improvement works" on the Barrow Blueway, the €5 million trail from Lowtown in Co Kildare to St Mullins in Carlow.
The response deadline for the tender is June 7th.
Both projects are forecast to bring significant tourism benefits to Kildare, on their completion.
