The clinic was previously held at Naas General Hospital
The Coombe Hospital is currently appraising a number of sites to host their antenatal clinic, which was previously held in Naas General Hospital.
The service was stopped during the Covid-19 pandemic and was never reinstated.
Speaking on Wednesday's Kildare Today, Social Democrats TD Catherine Murphy said there was currently no timeline on when the clinic would be up and running.
The Dublin Midlands Hospital group said on Tuesday that it is requesting costs from potential providers.
The Group said: "It is keen to restore the consultant led antenatal clinic in the Kildare area at the earliest opportunity."
The Kildare North TD said she will continue to follow up on the issue, until services are restored.
